Media Player is just a program to play Movies or Music files. Moving Media Player to your new hard drive won’t make any difference in disk space. Its a good idea to move your Music/Movies files to your new hard drive. Its very simple, just copy and paste.

Move all your music to your new drive. You can actually move windows media player because its tied into the OS. if you move your library youll be able to move all your music and add more music to the library.
